Full-time (4-day week considered)
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Lawyer to join a well-established Newcastle-based law firm.
This role offers the opportunity to work directly with a Director on a broad range of commercial advisory and transactional matters, including commercial agreements, corporate advisory, property matters, restructures and client advisory work.
You will have carriage of your own files, work with a diverse client base and be supported by dedicated administrative assistance.
About you:
- Ideally 3-6 years PAE in commercial and/or property law;
- Strong drafting, negotiation and advisory skills;
- Experience managing your own matters from start to finish;
- Commercially minded with a practical approach to problem solving.
Applications will also be considered from lawyers with 2–3 years PAE who have demonstrated experience running their own files and are looking to further develop their commercial practice.

Salary guide: $110,000–$155,000+ base salary depending on experience and level.
