- My client is a leading boutique 4 Partner CA Firm, 12 staff practice, located in the Sydney CBD
- I am looking for a Business Advisory Manager
- The person I am looking for will most likely be a Business Advisory Assistant Manager from a big 4, mid-tier or small-tier CA firm looking to step up to a Manager position, or a Manager looking for a change to a small-mid-tier firm and a more rewarding environment.
- You will have approximately 4-7 years of experience servicing individuals, large privately owned businesses and small-medium enterprises.
- The role involves business advisory, strategic/planning and tax compliance services across key industry sectors.
- Further information on the manager role includes;
- Exceptional tax understanding and problem-solving skills and preferably has experience with tax consolidations.
- Exceptional accounting standards understanding and the preparation of general-purpose financial reports.
- Can draft correspondence including advice.
- Wants face to face client interaction. Will need to be hands-on and working as well as high level managing, mentoring and overseeing staff –
- Small team – 4 Partners, Senior Manager and 10-12 Sydney based accounting staff and 5 over overseas based staff members and 2/3 admin.
- There may be occasions where MUST work longer than normal hours in July/August when heavy reporting period but swings and round-a-bouts with time off and remuneration.
- Definite partnership opportunity but not an issue if seeking purely an outstanding long term enjoyable working environment with deserved financial and lifestyle rewards.
- Mandatory 3 days a week in the office, but this role may at times necessitate the occasional additional days in the office or potentially at clients subject to work matters. They are very conscious of the work/home scenario balance.
- A collaborative and generous enumeration package, circa $120K – $160K including super for a Manager (subject to experience and performance).
