We are working with a leading boutique CA firm based in the Sydney CBD to find a Business Advisory Manager. This is an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Manager from a Big 4, mid-tier, or small-tier CA firm looking to step up, or an existing Manager seeking a change to a more rewarding environment within a successful team.
About the Role
You will have approximately 4-7 years of experience servicing individuals, large privately owned businesses, and small-medium enterprises. The role involves business advisory, strategic/planning, and tax compliance services across key industry sectors.

Exceptional tax understanding and problem-solving skills, with a preference for experience in tax consolidations.
Exceptional understanding of accounting standards and the preparation of general-purpose financial reports.
Ability to draft correspondence including technical advice.
Desire for face-to-face client interaction. You will need to be hands-on while also managing, mentoring, and overseeing staff.
Collaborative team environment consisting of 4 Partners, a Senior Manager, 10-12 Sydney-based accounting staff, 5 overseas-based staff members, and admin support.
Occasional longer hours during the heavy reporting period in July/August, balanced with time off and remuneration.

Mandatory 3 days a week in the office, with occasional additional days required depending on work matters or client visits, supported by a strong focus on work-life balance.
A collaborative and generous remuneration package, circa $120K – $160K including super (subject to experience and performance).
