An outstanding opportunity has arisen for a Corporate Associate (3–5 years’ PAE) to join a leading private capital and investment funds practice in Sydney.
You will work closely with a highly regarded partner who advises private capital participants on complex private equity and funds transactions, with a particular focus on fund formation and secondaries. The practice is known for its strength in multijurisdictional mandates and international fundraising, offering exposure to sophisticated, cross-border work typically seen in major global financial centres.
Clients include private capital sponsors and institutional investors across a range of sectors including environmental, healthcare, software, agriculture and real estate.
The Role
You will be involved in a broad range of private capital matters, including:
- Private equity and investment fund formation
- Secondaries transactions
- International fundraising mandates
- Structuring and advisory work for private capital sponsors
- Private wealth / high-net-worth investor work
This role offers a genuine mix of technical complexity, client exposure and international deal flow.
About You
- 3–5 years’ PAE in corporate / funds / private capital
- Experience in investment funds, private equity or related transactions
- Exposure to private wealth or HNW client work (highly regarded)
- Strong technical, drafting and commercial skills
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-performing environment
