An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a Disputes Associate to join a high-performing litigation and arbitration practice within an international law firm in Brisbane.
You will work closely with a highly regarded disputes partner known for advising major corporations on complex, high-pressure litigation and arbitration matters across a wide range of industries, including energy, mining, financial services, aviation, construction, healthcare and sport.
The practice has a particular strength in high-stakes disputes for energy sector clients with cross-border operations across Australia and the Asia-Pacific region.

The Role
You will work across a broad mix of complex disputes, including:
- Commercial and contractual disputes
- International and domestic arbitration
- Energy and resources disputes
- Regulatory and enforcement matters
- Cross-border litigation
You will have the opportunity to take ownership of discrete matters while playing a key role on larger, strategically significant disputes.
About You
- 3-5 years’ PQE in commercial litigation / disputes
- Experience working on complex or large-scale matters
- Strong drafting, analytical and problem-solving skills
- A commercial mindset with confidence engaging with clients
- Interest in cross-border work or the energy / resources sector (highly regarded)
