Summary:
- My client is a leading Big 4 accounting firm with a highly regarded National GST Advisory practice.
- Due to strong growth in advisory, M&A and Real Estate related GST work, the firm is looking to appoint an Indirect Tax (GST) Senior Manager or Director.
- The role can be based in Sydney or Melbourne, with relocation considered for interstate or international candidates.
The Role
- Delivering high-level GST advisory services to large corporate and institutional clients
- Advising on complex GST matters across M&A transactions, real estate and major projects
- Working collaboratively with Deal Tax and broader tax teams on transaction-related work
- Supporting clients with GST governance, technology, and data-driven advisory solutions
- Managing client relationships and contributing to the continued growth of the practice
- Leading and mentoring junior team members
About you:
We are interested in speaking with candidates who have:
- Strong GST / VAT advisory experience within a professional services environment
- Experience advising on complex GST matters across large clients or transactions
- Excellent client relationship and stakeholder management skills
- Strong verbal and written communication ability
Highly regarded experience includes:
- Real Estate or M&A related GST advisory work
- Exposure to GST governance, technology, or data-driven advisory projects
- Experience working with Deal Tax or transaction teams
- International candidates with VAT experience from the UK, Ireland, South Africa, or New Zealand are encouraged to apply.

- Director level: Demonstrated BD capability and strong professional networks preferred
- Manager / Senior Manager: Focus on technical delivery, client management and leadership
