We are working with a leading Big 4 accounting firm with a highly regarded National GST Advisory practice. Due to strong growth in advisory, M&A and Real Estate related GST work, the firm is looking to appoint an Indirect Tax (GST) Senior Manager or Director. The role can be based in Sydney or Melbourne, with relocation considered for interstate or international candidates. ### The Role – Delivering high-level GST advisory services to large corporate and institutional clients – Advising on complex GST matters across M&A transactions, real estate and major projects – Working collaboratively with Deal Tax and broader tax teams on transaction-related work – Supporting clients with GST governance, technology, and data-driven advisory solutions – Managing client relationships and contributing to the continued growth of the practice – Leading and mentoring junior team members ### About you: We are interested in speaking with candidates who have: – Strong GST / VAT advisory experience within a professional services environment – Experience advising on complex GST matters across large clients or transactions – Excellent client relationship and stakeholder management skills – Strong verbal and written communication ability Highly regarded experience includes: – Real Estate or M&A related GST advisory work – Exposure to GST governance, technology, or data-driven advisory projects – Experience working with Deal Tax or transaction teams International candidates with VAT experience from the UK, Ireland, South Africa, or New Zealand are encouraged to apply. ### Business Development – Director level: Demonstrated BD capability and strong professional networks preferred – Manager / Senior Manager: Focus on technical delivery, client management and leadership ### The Firm Offers – Opportunity to work within a market-leading national GST advisory team – Exposure to complex advisory and transaction work across multiple sectors – A collaborative culture with strong leadership and mentoring – Competitive remuneration package commensurate with experience
