We are working with a leading boutique advisory firm located in the Sydney CBD, currently seeking an Insolvency Intermediate or Senior looking to progress their career. The ideal candidate will have experience working for a similar insolvency firm.
The role involves:
Managing and completing assignments for manager and partner review and acting as the firm’s point of contact for less complex assignments.
Assisting managers and partners in performing special assignments and other corporate work as and when required.
Work with senior accountants and managers to identify engagement risks and determine the appropriate strategy for each assignment with the manager and partner.
Demonstrate a high standard of skills and knowledge in accounting and professional accounting standards for conducting financial investigations and preparing appropriate reports.
Understanding of insolvency and the various insolvency legislations for the following:
realising businesses/assets,
dealing with correspondence and creditor enquiries,
creditor report preparation,
meeting with directors, bankrupts, creditors etc.,
conducting staff training; and
research & preparation of papers and newsletters relating to insolvency matters.
