An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a Structured Finance Associate (3–6 years’ PAE) to join this international law firm in Sydney.
You will work closely with a leading partner specialising in securitisation, structured finance and debt capital markets, advising on complex domestic and cross-border credit and private capital transactions.
The practice is recognised for delivering innovative, first-of-their-kind transactions and operates at the forefront of structured credit markets in Australia.
The Role
You will work across a broad range of structured finance and securitisation matters, including:
RMBS and CMBS transactions
Warehouse and forward flow structures
Private credit and structured lending transactions
Trade receivables and asset-backed financing
Dealer floorplan and auto receivables structures
Debt capital markets (including MTNs, hybrids and other issuances)
You will be involved in highly technical, bespoke transactions across a wide range of asset classes and capital structures (senior and mezzanine).
About You
3–6 years’ PAE in structured finance / securitisation / banking & finance
Experience in securitisation or asset-backed financing is essential
Exposure to DCM or private credit (highly regarded)
Strong technical, drafting and analytical skills
Ability to operate in a high-performance, detail-driven environment
